Cock-a-doodle-doo....

This guy showed up on the weekly challenge at Drawspace. He was ripe for doing one of my sprites. He is done on MS Paint and is 100 pixels x 100 pixels. Jeanette from Illustrated Life put the challenge pictures up this week. She says this is the look he has just before he attacks!

  1. Hi,
That is a very nice digital painting.
Do you sell your digital paintings? I'm curious as to how I would sell my digital paintings. downloadable?
    thanks, have a great day.

  2. Thank you Chris!
No, I've never sold anything and I'm not sure that anyone would pay for a painting that is about an 1 1/4" square:)
I know one digital artist and I am pretty sure that he makes high quality glicee(?) prints. I would have to assume you could also sell downloads too.http://linesandcolors.com/ has a wealth of information and links to many digital artists.
You could also ask around on art forums. I have links on my page to Let's Make Art and Drawspace.
Your paintings are great, I love your trees.

  4. I think we must be having a "rooster run"! You, Fito & I all did roosters recently. You always do these little sprites/pixel paintings so well. Your rooster looks almost loveable! lol

  5. Christine,
Thank you! These things are fun to do instead of playing a game on the computer.
    Jan,
I'm loving all the roosters, they look so great and different.

  6. We must both love roosters as a theme. Yours is quite wonderful given the detail you've achieved without a real brush. I found your site through Sue Smith and I can see why she would have selected you!
    Roosters- love em/hate em.

  7. Bonnie,
The picture for the rooster was so great that I couldn't resist drawing him, in fact I think he has been the most popular picture to draw in a challenge in a while. I just loved seeing your painting of the rooster and the woman, beautiful!

  8. Thank you Paulette! I really appreciate the kind words- it means a lot to me.
The serendipity of these web wires is like having a box of Cracker Jacks every day only the surprises are not junky trinkets.
They're unexpected treasures of some amazing talents that you'd never otherwise see.
I can understand how your rooster would be so popular.
( Loved your comment about learning how to faint in your profile !)

  9. I'm still working on that fainting thing:)
I couldn't leave a message on your blog, do you have to be a member?
I just loved your water carrier and when you added the worm and Dr. Seuss and the stilt dancers well you had me hooked! I will be looking to see what else you do.
